Why Cerulean Exists
In a world filled with mass-produced and AI-generated imagery, Cerulean celebrates the beauty of art made by human hands.
As a working artist, I believe connection is essential — between artists, collectors, and the communities we call home.
Cerulean is committed to supporting real creators and giving more children access to art and creative opportunities.
Our mission is two-fold: to help collectors invest in work they love and to provide access to art education for young creatives in our community.
“Any form of art is a form of power; it has impact, it can affect change – it can not only move us, it makes us move.”
— Pablo Picasso
At Cerulean, we believe art should do more than fill a wall, it should help make life a little more beautiful.
“Guided by feedback from previous collectors and Raleigh-based designers, we curate pieces that resonate deeply and elevate any space.”

About
Meet the Artist Behind Cerulean
I’m Megan Spillars — an oil painter based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Cerulean began as my personal studio and grew into a space where my work lives alongside a thoughtful curation of other artists whose craft, perspective, and stories add depth to this community.
My hope is that Cerulean feels like a place of calm, creativity, and connection — for collectors, creators, and anyone seeking beauty in their everyday life.
